It's even worse if your family is inactive. Been in game for over a year and not once have I been randomized into an active household whenever I apped. People complain about appers picking ahead of time where to place their character, but it's because of things like this that it happens. Some events pretty much require household interaction and if you don't have an active house then you're out of luck.

but now you've got me thinking that it could be something like:

the flavors of ice cream cause an emotional reaction of some kind and whatever candy/cookie combined to the ice cream (be it oreos, m&ms, kit-kats, nilla wafers etc) causes another reaction to occur along with it.

it could be interesting if the combinations were varied enough but atm it really just makes me hungry :|

there was also that weird MLP/improbable island crossover OC, too. xelunknown or something? too lazy to dig up the links but it was an awful mary sue pony, got rejected repeatedly and then eventually told not to app again after whining pathetically all over d_m.

and for reference, btw: steve is the name given to the default skin your character gets in minecraft-- you know, the sandbox game with no storyline or characters with personalities, aside from what you imagine yourself. his icons are of just the face of the default skin with minor edits, which is fucking terrible because if he at least took screencaps of the 3D model you can make them into passable icons.

so yeah i don't know what the fuck the player is thinking at all. definitely an overeager puppy who keeps shitting on the carpet kind of guy, except no one has to heart to rub his nose in it.

The author screwed up in numerous ways in the books. It's really a shame because the setting is a good concept, but there are just so many ways that the delivery failed miserably and it didn't even come close to reaching its potential.

It depends really, I know people who have built up a good web of CR from their housemates and tend to only stick to a set of people for tags. Also people that are in houses full of drones yet still have a lot of CR with everyone.

Really even with an inactive house you can still make up the difference. I know back when I had a character in a house where none of the other members tried to contact me, post to the housing memes we had or to any plotting post I put up. I was still able to form a web of CR and deal with the lack of housing CR. It just took a little bit more work from me.

Even if you app in to a cast it shouldn't be the only way you're getting CR. Just tag around, I know I tagged around a bunch during the candy bar player run event we had at the start of the month and I made a lot of new CR from it.

i usually just have to close my plurk tab at that point and walk away from the computer. and then pretend people that stupid can't possibly exist.
