Because they still can make AC by making two network posts for each character that are trite, typical (events/drive especially), and have a narrow scope in who would respond/find it interesting. With that and how they don't ever respond past one or two comments, it's like they're in their own little world and use the GB setting for some inspiration. That's really defeating the point of a panfandom community-based game.

Kinda why I was against the mods' suggestion of easing up AC, and instead wishing the opposite, which I know sounds mean, but the idea I have in mind would only make the kind of unresponsive player they are get the boot.

That idea? Encourage the use of variety of ways for secondary AC and not just using one type over and over in the AC checks. Backtagging does not make the superthread hard at all, and logs can be private and are accepted even if they have few comments. Hell, the 30-tag compilation takes time, but it works if your character is pretty social.

i'm pretty sure dipshits like that are the vast minority, at least among the fandom that rps on dreamwidth. they exist, but not usually around here.
