I hate tagging people from canons I've never heard of/don't know. If a tag is interesting/gives me lots to work with then I'll tag back regardless, but if it's some character I never heard of giving me ".....hi" tags, then forget it.

that karkat mun always does that. apps a character, plays them for a few weeks, squats around for months on end even after getting crit for it, idles out. it sucks because i like their karkat, but they're practically never around.

And a good amount of that was also other people and not the player themselves. Also, I can't honestly blame them for not taking the first crit too seriously? "You play your characters as cockwongles, don't do that." That doesn't exactly explain everything they are doing wrong, nor does it explain exactly what the hell a cockwongle is, I'd be surprised if anyone too that seriously. Especially if they don't even know what it was in the first place. I don't know, I guess I can just see where they are coming from really when it comes to wanting crit, and then getting something like that, I wouldn't take it too seriously either, considering how many wanky anons there can be who just say shit to say shit because they are conveniently behind the safety of anon.

The anon could have given better crit than that though, it really just comes across as a petty jab than like anything too serious about characterization or the like. Granted, they could have asked, but I can't honestly blame them for not taking it to heart as much as they did the crit that explained and elaborated what they had issues with.

Well, I for one actually would like CR with some of the characters they play, but I don't see why I should have to put in effort beyond tagging their posts. If I tag you, that means I want a tag back. I shouldn't have to PM you or find you on plurk to ask if I'm ever going to get a response and ultimately get nothing for it. My character gets tags from other players, and the response to him has been positive, so "be less shitty" or "tag out more" don't seem to apply here. And yet I'm still getting nothing.

Someone upthread described it perfectly: It's like someone is posting to a musebox you weren't invited to, but you can't get it off your friends list.

I found out after I quit Micro that a lot of the decisions I blamed on the other two mods and had been told were made by the other two had really come from Glass but she'd lied about it to make herself look better.
