From a review of this manga, posted on the blog of the reviewer. Obviously, the review got quickly dogpiled by angry fans attacking the reviewer as oversensitive. It got comments by angry Maria Holic fans over a year after it was posted.

Here's a gem one of them posted:
"I do hope Maria and Kanako will be together in the end though. People of polar opposites came to an understanding of each other is wonderful."

Yeah. And this is why I hate this manga and its fandom.
