it's the story of a lesbian in an all girl's school and a boy who crossdresses to get in and starts harassing the shit out of her, threatening to rape her and set her on fire amongst other things. after which the lesbian flees and starts crying and praying to her dead mom or something about what did she do to deserve this. the lesbian thinks the crossdresser is a girl and has a crush on "her" after a while i believe.

the crossdresser, mariya, is made to be the hero. the one we're supposed to sympathize with. his torture and harassment are played for laughs. the creator says it's a parody of yuri in general but haha no.

there's a side character that is a lesbian only because men give her hives and she gets really misandrist and nosebleeds a lot. the lesbians are called perverts based solely on their same sex attraction.

people worship it because SHAFT animated it. the fans get butthurt if you tell them why it's offensive and will tell you to get a sense of humor and that's all just fun and games.

i honestly consider the whole spiel with mariya borderline transphobic as well but ymmv.

it's not a parody. it's not cute. it's not funny. it's pure, hateful garbage in every way and i hope every copy of it bursts into flames randomly.
