We did make a bunch of changes to the games that, in retrospect, were pretty stupid. Granted, we were trying to address problems and fix them, but looking back on it, they didn’t help. The AC stuff, for example, was ridiculous.
And I’ll be the first one to admit that I’m blunt when I talk to people. Sometimes the things I say can come off sounding terrible. I was the one who wrote up a lot of the info stuff and answered the questions/comments/suggestions that players had, so if something came off sounding abrasive, chances are pretty high that it was me.
To say that we ignored everyone but each other isn't entirely accurate. You can look at either game’s communities and see plenty of tagging on the parts of both of us. But you're right in that we did thread together a lot and I can certainly see how that comes off as exclusive. I only speak for myself here, but although I didn’t tag around to posts as much as I could have, I did try not to drop the threads that I had.
At the end of the day, those games are closed and I took from them many valuable lessons. If we ever happen to be in a game again, anon, and you’d prefer me not to tag your character(s), please don’t hesitate to tell me. All of my character journals have an HMD without IP logging and anon commenting is enabled. You can drop me a line, and I’ll respect your wishes and steer clear of you.
