Frankly, I think people bitching about quirks can just suck it up and deal with it. Homestuck didn't invent funny ways to type in RP, and definitely didn't first introduce us to colored text. Only once it was associated with a lot of big casts did it suddenly become this horrible thing that requires fucking opt-in posts.
