If my character has CR with them I do, but only if it's something that can't be ICly avoided. I don't go out of my way to tag them.

I try to avoid OOC contact via Plurk or IMs too. If there needs to be some coordination or clarification about our threads, then I'll use PMs to communicate. It gives me time to cool down and think before I type something reactionary.
