Because Marcus is too nice and is willing to give Alpha a chance at remaining her friend despite the terrible things she put Marcus through.

+ I'm sure Marcus had no other choice. Without Alpha, she most likely doesn't have any other friends. Most likely a result of dating Alpha in the first place.

iiiii can see this. it was most likely "break up with the person who treated me like shit + put me through hell and leave them behind forever OR stay friends with them so that i have at least someone to talk to because i'm a crushed outcast due to our relationship (ironically enough)"
