Pretty much. I get marking for spoilers in the canon point part, since that will be posted in the taken list as well usually. But it should be common sense that the rest of the app is going to contain spoilers for the canon the app is for.

The only case where you should have to mark spoilers is if you are apping from a series that has multiple parts, additional supplemental material, or parts not yet released in English and you are using information from that stuff. Like someone who plays from Ace Attorney and is apping Edgeworth from the first game, but uses material from AAI2 to flesh out his backstory, then that deserves a spoiler marking because your normal fan of the series can't access that since Capcom is being stupid and not releasing it in English.

Don't forget marking spoilers if it's from, say, a game released only a week or in some cases days ago.

Seen it happen, even just reading their canon points when scrolling on accident can be spoilery...

I wonder sometimes how mods who haven't finished the game yet feel about those sort of apps lol
