how do you know they're talking about shipping? it wasn't mentioned.

Given the age gap is mentioned, I'm pretty sure that's why. Adults and kids can interact, and often do. So the only thing I can think about is shipping, because adult/child is squicky to some people.

but you shouldn't make assumptions like that. there are differences in cr between adults and cr between adults and children that don't relate to shipping. a twenty-something is going to have a different type of relationship/interaction with a fourteen year old than they would with a thirty year old. i don't know why you'd immediately jump to the conclusion that they want to ship, and if they did...it's a romance centered game. it's a valid complaint.

So either they don't want to tag with kids, or they don't want romance with kids, even though romance isn't required and there are very few actual ships in QoH.

you can like tagging kids AND want more adults around. those things aren't mutually exclusive. from what i get from this anon just wants a wider range of character ages and varieties around. there's no problem with that and the game needs it IMHO. not wanting to app into the game because of it exacerbates the problem so i don't agree with that part of what they're saying, but wanting older characters in of itself isn't bad.
