Nope, fuck you. I play at C&C for the constructive crit and for the opportunity to play in an environment where I could improve. That is why I chose this game.

Players who are shitty at characterization and ~can't handle~ being told that they need to improve their writing and playing can get the fuck out. Because there is only a handful of them to the players in this game who are actually looking to improve.

We shouldn't have to tell them over and over again that they need to get their fucking act together, only to have them wad their panties so far up their ass that they have to go crying to Plurk and anoncomm about how unfairly they're being treated.

This is what they signed up for. C&C is a game with a standard of quality and they're going to have to perform with quality or be receptive to critique and improve. They need to leave.

Thankfully with this mandatory HMD, the mods will at least have a papertrail of evidence of the amounts of times that Eric and Murder have blown off their fucking crit and not done a damn thing about it. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure one of the #1 rules about RPing is fucking being in character.

They can play somewhere else if they're going to do it horribly. End of story.

having standards is not elitist, sorry. if it really was elitist there would be less people and it would be a lot harder to get cr.

Having standards may not be but acting like a dick and bringing up your standards again and again as if they make you so much better than everyone else and no one else has any kind of is though.

Expecting people to post to an HMD without throwing a tantrum about it is hardly elitist. That's honestly the bare minimum someone should be capable of in any game.

I have absolutely no problems with being called elitist. In fact, it's a compliment.

I don't behave this way with players on day 1. None of the players at C&C are this aggressive on day 1. Why? Because it's an environment where everyone is looking to improve. Every player in this game has been kind and helpful to everyone who is new or otherwise not in-game or thinking of joining the game.

I behave this aggressively when the same two problem players continue to behave like babies for months after being given the opportunity time and time again to be treated like adults and with respect. They're going to disrespect other players by playing horribly and ignoring any and all critique and input, they're going to be disrespected in turn.

They have had incredible amounts of opportunities to turn their behavior around and they haven't. That's when I turn into a proud, elitist bitch.
