Apparently, there's a player at Adstring named Theta who is there Ten (the Doctor). There was some wedding event where he was married to the Master...and then they decided they were just going to get married in game. When called out by anons on some meme, I think (you'd have to check the ACJ post before this one under the Adstring game hate tag), she made a plurk defending the pairing and said they'd been close for a whole four months which is a lot of time in game okay.

I didn't ask, but I think Theta played an oc in various games. Some steampunk chick who had one icon of her and then an icon of a compass and various "steampunky" icons or some equally stupid shit. Apparently Theta is also the name the Doctor had the Academy or something so it's to be expected.

Anyway, shit happened because the Doctor made a post saying he'd kill anyone who fucked with the Master and people were like WAIT WHUT because that's just haha no. This Doctor tags mostly the Master and shows no other canon stuff, like not being interested in other worlds and science-y stuff or whatever.

Yeah, fanon accepts that Theta is the Doctor's Academy name. You've got me curious now anon, I"m gonna try and find some links. This sounds wonderfully batshit.

I thought the OC belonged to Tally- the character's name was Theta, not the player.

It really makes me want to play Doctor/Master in a decent way. You know - complex, subtle, really fucked up.

I can see it happening. I can even see them pulling out old Academy nicknames (in a bitter, mocking kind of way). But there's a way to do it, and this ain't it.
