theyll fit in with that Boromir too since the mun has openly said he hasnt read the books, doesnt know the movie that well, will be relying on other people to fill him in on canon, and will be learning canon as he goes after being accepted like he does with other characters.

because you know it makes sense to app a character you know next to nothing about! its okay though because the books are so long you shouldnt have to even look at them.
