Her current game OC reminds me more of canon characters she's played in the past than anything else, but maybe I'm just unfamiliar with the character she's ripped off. She has themes she repeats. She repeats herself over and over, and she repeats other people too. The former is a little bit tiresome, the latter is, as you say, beyond annoying.

Everyone does it, to a certain extent, we like what we like, but she's not really doing herself any favors at this point. She was getting called out on rpa for being pretentious because she doesn't really show people anything else. Like you said, it's just ~oh this is so original, look how clever I am~. All the characters and stories she pumps out don't help, it just looks like she wants everyone to just be paying attention to her and her ideas all the time and telling her how awesome and exciting they are.

She is a good writer, that's why people compliment her, but coupling this with her lax communication skills (as in, she often won't because she's ~too nervous~ or too busy, but it really just reads like she doesn't give even a cursory fuck), her complimentary brigade of other 'pretentious' players who share some of her bad habits, and chronic thread-dropping she really comes across badly. Judging from the amount of times she's come up on rpa/acj since the move to DW, it's pretty obvious she's pissed some people off. She talks a good game about all the things she wants to do and play out, then leaves people disappointed. Yeah, it's just a hobby for fun, but I'd get pissed off if you said you were going to meet me at the playground and then didn't show up every single time, and that's just for fun too.

She's not a nasty person, at all, but the aloofness isn't working out for her and makes any niceness she might actually possess seem affected. Blowing people off all the time is just going to make people resentful. Not being conscious of how closely you're approximating your fellow players' OCs, also going to piss people off.

I forgot this is the hate meme for a second. Blah blah blah what a bitch? I got sick of it and just stopped talking to her, I'm not the only one. She hasn't changed this behavior in years, and I'm not expecting it to start now.
