late, but while indeed haven't stumbled across this yet (and have no doubt it's as horrid as it sounds), would there be a stigma for playing from the canon regardless? i'm interested enough so far to just skip over the rape scene as fast as possible, honestly.

i've seen other people playing akiko just fine without any "stigma," but it really is pretty fucking horrible yet plot centric for chapters.

it all boils down to 'akiko gets raped horribly in a myriad of ways also it gets posted on the internet BUT akira comes to save her' and then you can pick back up with the actual rescue chapters as rapeytime is mostly over then.
