tbh that excuse gets thrown around a lot because ddd is mostly made of friends who would never tell one another they're doing something wrong. even lots of development doesn't excuse some things.

Going to guess Isseimun. Recent RP!S wank and there's a recent plurk where every single person telling her it's okay is a shipmate. Everyone knows her characters are ship bait, all of her partners are her friends OOC and all of them are having fun, but she pretends to care that everyone else can see it's OOC.

If you don't care, fine, but she's a mascot for what the haters assume everyone is like at DDD.

When I was still making my way around when I first joined, I did notice how sexual (no matter how subtle) several of Issei's posts were, though. And all I knew of the characters was that he's a monk and I could tell something was off.

But I dunno, if she wants to play her yaois at the expense of ICness, as the other anons claim, then that's none of my business.

the core of likely everyone's bitching is that Issei of all the TM characters probably has the least amount of reasons to be in a ship. He's student council president at Homurahara HS and yes, training to take position at his temple as a monk. And he takes it seriously, so a ship of any kind would be hard-fought for and even harder to explain away to anyone who likes scrutinizes.

And I haven't looked in a while, but last I recall, she preferred slashing Issei, which is probably the other remainder of any bitchings or beefs. She's one of the many TM fans that used the friendship of Shirou & Issei and took it as ground to explore Issei's sexuality. Which is nice and anon can be open-minded, except that's not canon in the slightest take it to a musebox where no one can judge.

He's already graduated and become temple head. It's canon that he doesn't like many girls even non-romantically. He's a minor character, she has to headcanon a lot of things and in this case it's supportable headcanon.

I don't care if she plays him gay. I care that she plays him as a slut who instantly forms heart breaking, deep attachments that have him overlook everyone's flaws. Issei's an uptight, self-righteous prude and kind of a punk about it in canon but he has zero negative CR in game.

I don't think she plays Issei necessarily like that- I do think that he remains IC- but I think Mini likes putting him in sexual situations. So IMHO it's not Issei that's being OOC, it's only the mun liking to put him in flustering, awkward moments. And she can play whatever way she likes.

Hakuba, Issun and Birkin have all called him slutty. When characters are calling him slutty ICly it's not just the mun putting him in awkward situations.

She can play OOCly if she wants to but this is why DDD has the reputation it does.
