... G Gundam isn't much older than Wing? Turn-A Gundam is actually newer than Wing and only a couple of years older than SEED. I didn't like 00 much, but I don't recall anything quite to those series extremes. Gundam AGE isn't very good either but I don't think it's had any of that.

I could go on. SEED and Wing are exceptions, not the rule.

G Gundam isn't much older than Wing?

To the point where there are shared manga bits between the two canons. Pretty sure Wing was juuuust on the heels of G.

I just looked it up. Literally just on the heels, yeah - G Gundam's last episode aired on March 31st, 1995, Wing's first episode aired on April 7th, 1995.
