yes, avoid them, if only to save yourself time. the majority of them are incredibly shallow and flighty. pretentious and egotistical, too. their talent is second only to a lot of selfish and shitty behavior but that's enough to put a bad taste in lot of peoples mouths. sadly, there's enough pack behavior that there's no real diamond among the coal and thankfully you can spot them from a mile away.

you're better off trying to find other people to invest your time in.
