I am going to delete all the dumb, aspergers worthy discussion threads.

this is not the place for talking about butts and farts and shrimp. take that to your plurk or rpanons.

also, to anyone in that plurk because i know you're furiously f5ing this meme and shlicking to the idea of being namedropped, maybe you should stop blaming the hate meme and start blaming the two-faced bitches you associate with who leak your private shit.

hth, mouthbreathing motherfuckers.

War is shitty, absolutely, but the reasons it's shitty aren't really the reasons they used in SEED. SEED was just a bunch of overly pacifistic bishie shit. War CAN also be heroic too, though you'd have to go back a few centuries or even millenniums to find stuff that might be considered really heroic.

Yeah, heroic wars like that time a bunch of medieval societies fought for reasons that basically amounted to cock measuring.

Oh wait, no, hold on.

That wasn't heroic at all.

You're just arguing for the sake of it aren't you?

SEED's problem wasn't the pacifistic stance it or it's protagonists took. It's problem was being shittily written.

There are a dozen flaws in SEED's storytelling, and if you notice even one the whole thing falls apart at the seams. For instance - Kira violently disarms people, right? He breaks into warzones and violently disarms people. He leaves them weaponless. This would be fine if he then demanded their surrender and carried them back to his base or whatever, but for the most part? He doesn't. He leaves people weaponless and surrounded by hostiles who are most likely far less pacifistic than he is.

Stuff like that is why SEED fails. Failing to masturbate properly to war (which has never been heroic in the history of the universe - there may have been justified reasons, there may have been individual acts of heroism by soldiers on both sides, but war as a whole has never been heroic) isn't why it fails. It fails because it reads like it was written by a 14 year old who was just like "Yeah, war is like, bad, man." and didn't think any of the conclusions it reached through.

haha what.

Definitely nothing about World War II was heroic, guys. Certainly no daring rescues, noble deeds or acts of bravery!

Also stuff like that never happens in Iraq, and that's why we never give out any medals for valor (??????)
