Hey, don't judge the rest of the cast just because of one player. Some of them are really good.

About four of them are good...the Tsuna and Xanxus however, I've never seen anyone be more terrible and those characters

I'm not in the cast, but the Yamamoto, Hibari and Gokudera are good. The new Shouichi and Dino are pretty good too, but Tsuna and Xanxus... almost enough to make me want to quit the game.

Is Tsuna that bad overall, or is this shipping/engagement thing with Xanxus that much of a dealbreaker?

He's just very doujin-y/often OOC - helpless shota-uke stereotype, pouting and petulant rather than just derpy with an underlying strength and warmth.

A lot of the reasons for smut are thinly veiled, like eating the aphrodisiac easter eggs in the March achievements when he should have known better, and the type of smut is very doujin-y too. He's either overly passive (to the point of skeeviness - I wouldn't want my character to smut with him because almost every thread has some underlying dub-con element even if the other player doesn't intend it, eg. "It's not really what he wants to do right now but he won't protest") or overly aggressive.

The shipping/engagement could be a dealbreaker because it incorporates the above elements, although I don't play close CR.

Pretty much this. He's also ridiculously weepy (jeez that overdramatic crying post when Fang got kicked out of DV) and he just misses the mark on every single level.
