Though off-topic, that makes me curious if Hales ever got into Amat with Alphonse or Edward.

The answer to that would be no.

Amat's had the same Alphonse for a few years now and last I heard was that her Edward app was so creepy, she skeeved out their Al and they whined to the mods pleading to keep Hales out.

At the time, her apps were very public. Unfortunately, this anon didn't have the presence of mind to screen cap the first version. The first version that made no mention of Winry in any part of that app and the third person sample of the app basically involved a dream about having sex with Alphonse. That first attempt, blessedly, was rejected. I'm also assuming the other attempts were also rejected. The final public app seen (to date now she has either privatized or deleted) was a 20 page commentary on the differences between CoS Ed and Manga Ed and how those psychological differences made CoS Ed more prone to homosexuality. Think more of a poorly written and very wordy "too many words to speak with any depth" college paper.

The mere fact that they didn't mention Winry in the app makes me wince. Whether you ship her with any of the Elrics or not doesn't matter, she IS important to them at least as a friend and stuff.

And the rest... urgh. Man, I feel sorry for that Al.

Luckily, the last time she made noise about apping in again (apparently forgetting about the three rejections thing), one of the mods actually apped Ed in before she could. IDK if it was on purpose or not, but it was pretty hilarious timing, and now the Al has an awesome FMA cast to play with and not a crazy Edward.

tbh i don't really get the deal with hales. she might like ed/al and lelouch/rolo but they're just pairings and I've seen her discussing shipping Ed specifically with other characters like roy, winry, and stuff from other canons.

has she ever actually harassed anyone to play one of these ships out? or has this literally just been a case of people not wanting to ship what she likes and freaking out rather than talking with her about it?

I like my fair share of Elricest too. But there's a time and a place for it. That time and place is NOT in an applicable game. It's too much of a squick factor and people in general do not approve of incest relationships even if it is fictional.

I've heard she's gotten pushy with a few Lelouches in regards to shipping him with Rolo, and I believe she's gotten crit before (not sure if it was about that particular point, but I distinctly remember it being brought up when he was in guysandolls). Not sure about any other games, though.

And anon, while you're right that she does discuss other pairings, she floods Ed/Al stuff pretty much constantly on her plurk and often shoves it into places where it just doesn't belong. I do like her and don't want to unfollow, it's just annoying that I have to mute half of what she says because HERE'S ME TALKING ABOUT ED FUCKING AL IN THE ASS AGAIN.
