I am going to delete all the dumb, aspergers worthy discussion threads.

this is not the place for talking about butts and farts and shrimp. take that to your plurk or rpanons.

Another former player. I normally don't get involved in these discussions, but I have to say I do agree with this. Most (if not all) of my tags to AJ were ignored entirely, which made things awkward whenever anyone would ask my character if they'd met hers. Do I pretend the ignored tag was a meeting? But if I do, then how did it go? Did they get along? Wait, isn't that godmoding, anyway? Then do I act like my character's never encountered hers, even though they obviously would've? Do I take the ignored tag as being IC and say her character ignored mine? WAT DO. Guess I'll ignore the question and talk about the weather.

I really don't care who does/doesn't reach out to me in a game. People will reach out to whomever they want and I do the same. I just sincerely hope that AJ's improved in the area of ignoring tags from people reaching out to her. If she has, then feel free to ignore this comment entirely - and good for her for making a positive change. If she hasn't, then hopefully this comment can help explain why people get so upset about these things. I can shrug off being ignored, honestly, but I get frustrated when I have to awkwardly cobble up a response every time someone's character gets mentioned in conversation because of it.
