Is she even doing anything with Pokedressing, or did she bring it over to DW just to try to compete with Pokedrifting?

I honestly don't think there's any competition between the two DRs -- there had been talk of PD moving long before talks on Drifting even started (though the lack of action happing with PD was part of what sparked it, as well as some people wanting a new flavour of DR).

I think the reason not much is happening right now is RL issues are keeping Vcksta from the internet, but she's spoken a lot about wanting to put all her RP effort into DW PD. Just give her some time, 'nonny.

Yeah, there's no competition between the two DRs. The two DRs are just alternatives to each other. I really don't understand why people keep acting like they're competing.

Am I the only one who gets a MAJOR case of second hand embarrassment when looking over anything Vycksta has done? To take her journal for example - the icons are something a teenager would use. The shipping names? Same thing. The constant squealing about things? Yeah. Girl's 26. This kind of behavior really shouldn't be tolerated and she should grow up.

I know she used to be worse with the colored text and all that. Does she still do that? IDGAF, but it's embarrassing to look at. Most people got over that by the time they hit 17. That's being generous.

But honestly I could put up with the childish behavior on the interwebs. I could deal with that, but the issue is her characters. Her "girls." You know, the ones she pours her heart and soul into and then makes a new one with the same face the next week? Yeah. THEM.

I get liking the protags and wanting to develop them. Or even wanting to use their appearance for your own character. That's fine. A lot of people do it and I don't have any issues with that. My problem is the fact that she has SO MANY and they're all throwaway characters with one main trait. Actually looking over her muselist I'm realizing that I haven't even SEEN the majority of these characters in action. Has she even played them outside of private storylines? It's fine if she's only playing them there, but I'm pretty sure she's mentioned every single one of her girls in plurk memes before. Like she actually plays them all and is active with all of them. That's a bit hard to believe.

I know she's going through a rough spot now. But that doesn't excuse any of this. She's been doing this for awhile now. I'm not here to wish death on her or anything like that. I'm just really bothered by the way she acts and her characters. Sorry but I needed to vent about this.

...also this is really petty, but I think her icon choices are horrible.

I know these feels. I don't hate her but her behavior can rub me up the wrong way. I'm fine with her being childish -- we're on the internet roleplaying from Pokemon, after all. What I don't like is when she acts immaturely in ways that can hurt others but never tries to change and rarely apologizes. She brushes off any criticism of her actions by saying it's just who she is; she admits she's childish and blunt but says that won't change. I normally have a lot of respect for people who are true to themselves, but when someone keeps acting in ways that can harm their friends and fellow RPers and justifys it by claiming that they've always been this way, then that's not cool.

She needs to learn the difference between being blunt (being plain-spoken and honest) and being mean. When she claims she's being blunt she's often just serving out needlessly harsh put-downs, often with a number of underhanded comments. Sometimes her behavior feels like it borders on bullying. For someone who claims to be blunt she used to be very passive aggressive too, particularly in how she'd talk about other players in public venues, but I haven't seen this behavior in a long time. I like her but I wish she would think more about how her words and actions affect other people.

On a more petty note, I agree that her characters are one-dimensional and rely too much on a single quirk, and I wish she'd stop pushing her ship names onto people and treating them like they're canon and like we all know what characters they're for.

Whoever's been telling her to die can get out, though. She may have a lot of aggravating traits but she's not that horrible a person, and no one deserves that.
