I hate that I was going to make an OC specifically to play out a dumb embarrassing fetish anonymously on a smut meme but then I found a cute PB for them and suddenly a cute backstory for them popped into my head while making the journal and I even thought of a great username for them so now I don't want to waste them as a throwaway fetish character.

What fetish were you going to play? Even if they're a cute character there's no way that you wouldn't be able to play it out? You don't HAVE TO make them a throwaway character.

It's for a sluttification/bimboification, stereotypically bad porn kind of scene. I feel kind of awkward admitting to wanting to play something goofy like that out for kink and not just for laughs, which is why I was making a sock OC to do it with.

Intellectually I know no1curr about stupid tongue-in-cheek fetish threads, particularly since I'd write the character's 'regular' porn encounters more conventionally if I decided to thread out more porn with them, but I'm still nervous about what would happen if I tried to app them seriously into a game if people found I threaded stuff like that out.

So really I just hate being a big irrationally insecure baby about smut writing even though I write a lot of kinky smut so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Make a separate account for the bimbofying/random fetishes version of the character? That way people you play the normal version around won't make the connection instantly, and once they do, they'll probably be aware of the fact that you can write the character well.

This has happened to me like five times now. It's worse when you actually are in the middle of playing out fetish porn with them and then you suddenly realize you enjoy writing them independent of the porn.

Just roll with it. Having some background info usually makes for more dynamic tags, even if it's just smut. If nothing else it means you'll have more to do in threads besides going "ungh ungh, stick it in baby, yeah just like that"
