Luceti for sure, also think she plays in Trahere looking at her apps. But the recent wank was caused because some players gave her crit on the game HMD in Luceti and her responses back outright appalled many players. She stopped responding to the comments on the game HMD, so players took it to the rpanons game discussion thread. She took the crit there as being a personal attack and bullying and dropped the character. Though supposedly she may reapp the character after "reworking" it, though most people didn't have any issues with her app. They had issues with how the character was played out. She played the character as basically a Mary Sue and a self-insert for her to engage in her sexual fantasies and thought that DID was "fun".

Basically, she's a great example of why a player should not be made a mod when they have only been in the game for at most a few months.

I don't care for Ginia or what she's done, mainly because Ginia always felt like Cata's self-insert to some degree, but I do agree with the comment about her being given a mod position at the time it was assigned. What has she even done since being given the position, outside of giving the calendar pretty symbols?

I know she's done at least three apps. Of course, one was one that was specifically pointed out as being a truly rude acceptance notice and doesn't use her icon, but according to things said on Plurk it was her. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more apps she's done, I noticed the default icon was used a lot more last round than before.

Honestly, I don't feel all that comfortable with her doing apps and per the position requirements she was only supposed to do apps for canons she knows. One app was an OC (and for a friend of hers, Helios' mun), the other two were obscure manga canons (Yami no Matsuei and Mythical Detective Loki were the canons) when she shows bias against anime/manga characters so I doubt she knew those canons.

And she did get the timeline up to date, made sure characters had tags in the logs community and gets the weather calendar up on time (there were times before when sometimes we'd go half the month with no new calendar). So as far as doing mod work goes, she's not worthless. I just don't feel comfortable taking questions and concerns to her or having her do an app I wrote.

Though I agree with the bias against anime/manga characters she seems to have I would like to note that she has CR with 5 anime/manga characters and from what I saw she seems to know those canons at least by lip-service. So it's probably she claimed to know those canons and since they are obscure the other mods just didn't worry anymore and gave her the apps or something. It's not hard to make people believe you know a canon if you know what to say, specially if it's obscure, many think that just because you know the names of the characters and basic info of them you're a reader of said manga.

Anyway Cata was supposed to be a technical mod to do just... Exactly what you say she has done and that is somewhat important. Not to do apps, I don't know who had the idea of doing it but it says little of the rest of the mod team, specially since she was doing apps pretty soon after named a mod despite all the claims in the mod app post saying that the new mod wouldn't do that.

Actually, go read the application for that position. Here's one question: "For the purpose of application help, please provide some canons that you would feel comfortable being consulted on." There was also a question about your take on researching canons. The post itself may not have mentioned apps, but the application sure gave the impression that there was an intent for her to eventually do apps. She also wasn't supposed to have players come to her about the AC, they still do. If she's not supposed to give the okay to people, why is she? Obviously that is something likely should be asked if she should be doing that or not because I could also see Akai changing her mind and allowing it, or Cata can do that after consulting with one of them or something.

My issue is more that we have no idea if she knows the canons and the questions on the app show it was more a help with apps with canons you know. And Kyo definitely started off with a canon he knew, he started doing apps with the Pokemon cast. And every app he's done has been for a canon he's apped a character from, except for some of the more obscure Tales of characters, like Tempest, but he's done apps for a long time by the time that came up, we can trust him.

There was also a question about your take on researching canons.

If she won't even research DID for her OWN character what on earth makes you think she'd research other people's canons for applications?!

it's the first app she processed, too, and it's for the OC of someone she's friends with. the acceptance was probably meant as a joke, but it's probably the most hostile-sounding joke acceptance any of the mods ever posted.

This. If I was a new player looking at the app page to get an idea of the standards of the game, I'd have run in the other direction upon seeing that. And it sure didn't make a good first impression for Cata doing apps.

I don't think any of the mods should make joke acceptance notices. Yes I get they are trying to be funny and do it for their friends, but it is not professional and can steer a stranger not in on the joke the wrong way.

I don't mind it so much if it is obvious it's a joke to an outsider. Like Kyo's "No" and then a normal acceptance.

Also don't mind the joke Q&A questions Kyo and Masa do, those are hilarious to read the answers to. I kinda hope Masa will do my app this round so I can get some actually, but of course no way to know what mod will do your app or ask for a particular one.

pretty obvious even to anyone not in the game that it's just one of those weird stupid jokes RPers do. it only looks unprofessional to me in that mods probably shouldn't be showing blatant biases and jokey dick-waving with their besties in app acceptance notices, there's all kinds of other times and places they can do that
