Because she didn't know how else to react to a bunch of vicious grudgeanons? Defending herself would be out of the question since the anons aren't gonna let go of their hateboners. And besides, if they really didn't like her, they wouldn't feel uncomfortable about using that opt-out post.

Greedmun was the one that made wank about the godmodding thing, iirc, even when he and others supposedly had talked to the mods. Not...picking sides or anything. Just pointing out that that un-anon critique probably wasn't taken as critique. It was an OOC questions meme, and she does have an HMD anyways.

Tbh I'm more miffed at how people here are dodging cr for OOC reasons. I always try to have my characters respond to posts that would interest them ICly.

That's what I was thinking. Taking crit badly my ass, he was just asking questions and she answered them as best she could. And the crit she DID get about infomodding was taken into consideration, not ignored.

Yeah, and it's not fair to BRS mun either since they avoid her when they avoid DM for that post. I've threaded with people I wasn't fond of before and it wasn't such a big deal.

How do you suggest people who only want to tag BRS tag a post by DM looking for BRS with no IC knowledge BRS would respond?

Since everyone here is so big on OOCly avoiding people, why not an OOC lock from DM? Or is that too aggressive for you?

The post shows BRS in the background, and if you read the other comments, the skull that's following BRS is the camera she's using. Simply note that your character wishes to speak to BRS and not DM.

Or people could do the easier thing and just not tag it and get their tags with Shooter elsewhere. If people don't want to play with her but are also tired of the drama, why would they bother with a reply that requires them to confront the drama?

Going to an opt-out post is hardly aggressive. In fact, many muns have it for their characters for any reasons. Just don't state the reason.

Because looking passive aggressive to a bunch of people who don't know what passive aggressive even means and are pulling shit out of their ass is the best, most mature, and most effective solution. Hard to stop "looking" passive aggressive if you aren't actually being that way.

I refuse to believe she is so stupid she can't see that as concrit. Every single question was a rephrasing of him saying why her moding was potentially problematic. If the mods talked with her about it and said other people had problems with it, she would have to know it was concrit in hindsight.

She probably did see it as concrit in hindsight, so let it drop and stop avoiding her. She's not a goddmodder, really never was/is, and uses permission always- unless everyone in this game is too fragile to tell someone 'no' for a use of a power. Her character doesn't go attacking random character constantly, either. Greedmun and others' wank was over a problem that didn't even happen, but only had the potential to be. It was brought to the mods before it could manifest as a problem, too, so what the hell?

I know I wouldn't. I've never tagged into any of her posts for the same suspicions, even if she has tagged into mine. It's easier to avoid conflict and not take that risk. As another anon pointed out, doing something OOCly to avoid tags isn't something new. I'll admit to recently avoiding BRS to avoid DM, because the two are tied together that much.

That's not fair to BRS at all. She's done nothing to deserve being side-eyed afaik. If being close to DM is valid reason to stop tagging her... then I don't even know anymore.

Think of it this way: I try to keep my CR as IC as possible, while attempting to avoid some muns. If my characters become close to BRS, farther down the line there will eventually be interaction between DM and that character.

... yeah i'm a hopeless optimist. what am i even doing here. but your call, man. if your character already had close cr with brs and you just started avoiding her that'd be one thing, but if you've never even tagged with her i guess there's no reason why you can't avoid her.
