I see Homura and instantly think Rurouni Kenshin and get all, "NOOOO, DON'T DO THAT TO HIM WHY WOULD YOU?!" then I see Madoka and am like, "Oh okay. No idea who that is."

She once told me that Rurouni Kenshin isn't enough magical and colorful for her tastes, too much violence. So don't worry about her messing up with it.

Then again it's hilarious that she complains that Rurouni Kenshin is too violent when her favorite AU is basically a continuous blood bath.
