What's up with the recent FemShep hate when, at the same time, there's a whole lot of "TOO MANY MALE PROTAGS!" rampage?

Nearly all ME fans are mentally ill and incapable of functioning in society. They should always be ignored and any attempt to establish any rhyme or reason to their insane cacophonies ought to be abandoned. Proof: all the gay/ME3 ending wank.

The ending wank made me seriously sideglance the whole fucking fandom. I thought it was an all right ending; it wasn't the shit pile that the fans were whining about. It's fine if the Hero dies/BREATHES UNDER A PILE OF SMASHED BUILDING/whatever theory is there in end.

You know, it's fine if you liked the ending. Go you.

But jesus fuck would you morons at least attempt to understand what people didn't like about the ending and are actually complaining about before you pooh pooh their anger?

Here's a cluebat: no one was upset that the Hero died. In fact, I would say almost everyone expected that the hero would die, since they died in the last game. Some people are upset because the ending was nonsensical, had almost no bearing on choices made during the game, and out of character.

Now, I will proceed to sideglance you fucking idiots because you can't read.

Pretty sure the anon above me can read just fine. It's just that the valid reasons why some fans were upset with the ending and the game in general were often completely buried beneath the deluge of insane ravings of fans that were very unrealistic and unreasonable in how they expressed their disappointment. So I definitely can't blame that anon for getting that impression of the fandom and the wank surrounding it.

All most Mass Effect fans want to do is whine and whine about how the game/fandom doesn't cater to their specific needs. This fandom is seriously a bunch of bitchy whiner babies, and I am kind of done with it.

This is coming from someone who actively plays from this canon, btw.

Of course, an entirely separate issue is why you'd even need a PB for a character from a canon where you can just, y'know, use pictures of the character?

This probably goes back to her needing to be omg gorgeous - see people using model PBs for characters that aren't exactly lookers.

I actually grabbed a pb for my Shepard because I do not have the game for PC and my Shepard has some differences from default!Shep--mainly in hair color--and a majority of the icons out there are of default!Shep.

I know a few that are looking for PBs too because they have a darker skinned Shepard and also lack a PC version of the game for caps.

Tbf Olivia Wilde does bear slight facial resemblance to FemShep, but damn. That is a pretty fucking unfitting PB.
