Beating a child with a belt =/= acceptable corporal punishment to get your child back into order. That's straight-up child abuse in the way that TC went on to word it his Plurk. Calling him out on that =/= sjw bullshit.

Seriously. I'm for corporeal punishment as far as spanking goes (with the proper handling, like warning them that if they continue they will be spanked, explaining to them why they were spanked, etc) but beating with an object that isn't your hand or doing so to an extent that it will leave any kind of mark other than a little red spot that will fade away in a few seconds is not okay, no matter what the kid did.

Whatever anyone's opinions of giving a kid a smack on the ass when they misbehave, if you can't see the difference between that and beating a child with a belt then you seriously need to have your goddamn head checked.
