this waterfell dramu has reminded me how much i hate pgsm as a fan of the sailor moon anime and manga.

pointless, cheap, ugly effects, fucked up the history, and gave the fandom the needlessly grimdark ~dark mercury~, who is worse than any otaku senshi from back in the proboard days.

not to mention the lack of consistency in the series, one episode beryl is all "the earth will be mine" and the next suddenly everyone just wants to avoid the earth being destroyed and the "big bad" is... princess serenity.

pgsm ruined the canon but the worst part is that it created waterfell who seems to also take pgsm as the base for both the manga and the anime and the characters there. cue her claiming that manga and anime ami also has a dark side and that usagi is a potential destroyer of worlds even when talking ooc.

from the way she acts and her obsession with pgsm specially and not sm in general, yes, it created her. i bet she is the type that never watched the original, watched pgsm and from there followed to the rest so basically without pgsm there wouldn't be a crazy bitch like her around.

I and loved loved loved the live action version.

I just never made the mistake of thinking it took place in the same timelines at the manga version or anime version.
