Slightly related to above threads.

I've had far more intelligent and thought provoking conversations on some 4chan boards than I probably have in my entire RP career, but most RPers treat 4chan like it's just a bunch of racists (literally) circlejerking and anything that comes from there should be immediately thrown in the fire without looking back.

It's not ALL like that guys. Sure /a/ and /b/ are obviously bad but at least /a/ still has discussion threads, and the smaller boards are usually very decent.

But if you say you regularly visit 4chan well... You get the idea.

4chan is pretty bad, sorry. some boards are okay at certain times of the day but that still doesn't change how awful a lot of them are at most times of the day

but the rp community is the last place to be tossing stones about that

I check out /co/ for good comic recs from time to time, and the draw threads can be fun, but it can still be full of raging assholes. And /co/ is supposed to be one of the "good" boards

Main problem with /co/ nowadays is SJWs or trolls pretending to be SJWs. Take your shit back to Tumblr. I'm here to get my comics, not to hear you whine about how Tony Stark is a homophobe or how dare Cap have a religion, or why you no support Ark Project or whatever that stupid fucking thing was.

/x/ is pretty fun, because everyone is a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist, obsessed with creepy pasta, or a nonbeliever.

/diy/ is also pretty decent, because everyone just talks about how to fix and make shit

I stay from /cgl/ because many of them are drama queens, or a fat neckbeards who gets mad when a non 10/10 cosplays their waifu, and there's that asian supremacist. There are a few decent people in the help threads, but the rest outweighs the good.

/d/ was my favorite place to lurk and look at interesting discussions about kinks and bringing up kinks like D/s play to real life partners

except for getting divebombed by other boards a lot, it was really chill
unless it's gotten really shitty since the last time I visited 4chan
