What is with her obsession with replacing various parts of Jade's body with robotic prosthetics, anyway? Did she even give a reason why Jade refuses to get biological replacements?

First time, she refused because Jade is scared of medbays after the SHODAN thing. Ok, I can buy that, even though Jade is supposed to be a tough cookie who puts her friends first (problematic here because her boyfriend's worst fear? Robots).

Second time she was taken to a medbay after it happened. So there really is no excuse for her to not have her eye fixed there beyond Karkat-baiting and making Dave sprite feel guilty if he reacts badly to it.

(She would also have had extra robot prosthetics after the SHODAN event if the mods hadn't vetoed it, iirc. It's obvious that she does it for the attention, she even used ~conspicious audio replys LIKE SHE IS HIDING SOMETHING~ when responding to people post limb-loss. Even though text would be more effective at hiding her secret pain that she ~really~ doesn't want anybody to ask about, tee-hee!)

pretty much this. the thing to understand about her and her Jade(s) is that they must always be wounded, weak, in need of help and at the center of attention.

basically they must be nothing like Jade at all ever.
