What am I missing?

He put up a shipping post in his musebox for people to thread specifically with him and said no smut or slash. Is that the entirety of it? Because that's rather similar to putting it with his own characters, and it's entirely reasonable for people to choose on an individual level that they don't wish to play out slash.
