Huh. Good to know! I'd been in a situation where a friend kept crying suicide, but I never found out what would happen since me finally threatening to call the cops snapped them out of it. (Not in a "Not that!"/repeats again later way, but in a "I need help if this is what it's come to" and sought help way.) I had a hunch nothing awful would happen to either of us if it turned out they weren't serious about it, though, and I cared enough about that person that I was willing to find out.

Honestly, I'm just worried that Tally won't take it as well. I mean, I can just see her missing the point of it and adding "(whoever) called the cops on me" to her list of sob stories to twist around on Plurk, you know? I sure hope that doesn't happen if(/when?) anon with her info makes the call, but it really is a "hope for the best, expect the worst" case with this gal.
