I agree although I guess I understand why people still like doing it... what kind of plots would you like to see anon?

Plots that involve the castle throwing things at people that don't ask for them to solve some sort of mystery or puzzle. It just doesn't work with that many characters or muns, not to mention the event ends up so structured and closed-ended. What's the point of playing? You're basically making interaction inside a mad lib game, just slot in the names of who does what.

I want plots where the castle makes things happen that give people more room to do whatever they want. "There's a T-Rex in the lobby today! Tomorrow, there's a whole pack of diplodocuses!" instead of "There's a T-Rex in the lobby and you have to solve his riddle if you want to meet the diplodocuses!" If that makes sense. Yeah, whichever character figures it out feels accomplished, but for the most part you're just hurried through events in order to get to the next, instead of just being given something to play with.

Does that make sense?

it does! I kinda feel you on that, to be honest. I love puzzles and mysteries but in a game with so many characters and just one right answer to find and slot in, you're right that it's limited.
