i'm sick of seeing new games spring up only for homestuck casts to turn them into their personal musebox - which, considering it's happened three or four times in the past year now, is getting irritating. that isn't even counting how most of the aforementioned serial appers are inactive as fuck in their other games, meaning they won't even be good for cr in-game.

so no, i don't think it's "reaching". i think it's being suitably nervous.

maybe they are a homestuck reserver, i have no idea and i don't care. that doesn't make that commenter any less stupid. surprisingly, you can ignore people you don't like in games and if they bother you oh-so-much you can ask them not to tag you or even app into a different game where there aren't any/as many homestuck characters. the issues had with homestuck are not unique to homestuck. they happen in every large and popular canon.

stop being such a giant baby and let other people have their fun.

So then don't interact with them and build CR elsewhere. I've only played in two games with HS casts, but they were pretty good about tagging out and getting cross canon CR. I'm sorry if that's not been your experience but I still think it's premature to be bitching to ACJ about it. Wait until they do something really annoying. Presently you're just making a game with a decently cool premise look bad before it even opens.

The Homestuck guys add up to about 16% of the total reserves in your game. Considering that yours is a brand new game, and popular canons are ALWAYS going to be huge when a game is just starting out (because what's popular is usually already taken at other games, and a LOT of people want to play popular characters), that is actually a very small percentage. I'd like to point out that apping at a new game, and then not doing anything is ALSO very common.

I think either you're dumber than a sack of bricks, and have no idea how roleplaying works, or you have a huge hate-boner for Homestuck. Especially considering you failed to also complain about the Marvel movie apps as well, which amount to about 11% of the reserves (and would probably be larger if not for the relatively smaller cast available to play as).
