Only thing of note I've seen is the Todd player getting into a really weird discussion with the Jack Sparrow player about whether there's a point to having Jack in the game.

yeah wtf is that? It seems out of left field and to have absolutely no point and even if she says it doesn't come across as aggressive, it kind of does.

Why isn't she asking the glee cast the same thing? or the qaf people? or all of the medieval larpers running about?

Do people actually take RP that seriously that they have a "role" in mind for a game overall?

Like I app'd because I thought the premise was interesting and my castmates wanted me, not because I had any overarching intentions within the game.

i didn't. i play a 001 and fuck it, i enjoy the niche i stumbled into or whatever role my character plays in game.

Thing that's really fucking hilarious about that comment is what is Todd's role? He exists to feed on people once a month and have a really limited pool of CR. How is that anything in the 'grand scheme of the game'?

They were! I almost want to go in there and tell the Jack-mun that they don't have to worry about having a stupid "role in the grand scheme of this game" when they app a character they really want to play. IDK why but that is just irritating to me.
