Okay, what the hell? Greedmun drops Ozaki but Jade keeps DM around. It should be the other way around. I really hope she notices how most of her cr is ignoring her post. It almost makes me feel bad for BRS-mun for having cr driven away by a bad castmate. Bitch should take a hint and leave.

So it's probably Naem, Tay, Mini, Koz, Jackie, Klavier-mun, Lancer-mun, Roze-mun, and Greedmun at the least, but from what was on rps it sounded like there was a lot more. If the anon who posted first under DDD and the +1 are to be believed, they don't tag her for OOC reasons. But if you look at the cr both DM and BRS combined have with all of them, that's a lot of hate for one person to result in boycotting a joint post altogether.

This game is notorious for being bad in terms of players and in terms of keeping characters IC. I'm amazed it's still around, but I guess the bad players still need a place to go.

I'm really involved in the OOC scene of this game and this is the first time I've ever heard about any of this, tbh. It's really self-contained wank, way more than this thread would ever suggest.

She's never been the focus of any wank there and never goddmodded, info-pulled, was never OOC, etc, and our thread always has wank about someone or some group or the mods. Y'all need to calm yo tits here for something that's apparently been fixed already and stop being whiny babies. If she isn't the wanker, you're all dragging ass. If she is the cause, or one of the causes (what the hell is 'everything'), then she's probably learned her lesson. Not all wankers at EV are those that never improve (imo, at least), and ten bucks says she's not one of those that wouldn't improve.

Maybe some wank in this game will do you good. EX: Hey, I heard this game has a problem with characters OOCly being buddy-buddies with villains. or This game is full of harems and massive shippers of ships that don't even make sense.

Also 'proven innocent' wtf. It should be, no matter what, that without OP revealing themselves she cannot be proven proven guilty. Although if you all make her drop that means more playtime for us in EV.

Anyone else remember one person calling out a bunch of other muns for lack of branching out or activity? That plus with the fact that the secret was targeting more than one mun could make the two complainers one and the same. Which means Jade was one of those the person was trying to target.

Noticing all this discussion over OOCly avoiding posts and DDD having its cliques, I have noticed that none of the people called out improved at all with their branching out. I, for one, have still never recieved an Ichi, R, or Jackie tag on my own post despite repeatedly commenting on their posts to develop CR. Maybe secret OP noticed this too and so called the most obvious person with difference in activity, and added some ambiguity into the mixture. It's much easier to get a secret out or namedrop a bunch of people to critique them about activity than commenting on each one's HMD individually.

I never noticed it before, but we do seem to have a problem with this OOC avoiding of interaction. It's not fair to the people who will try to build CR if the other doesn't want it. I'd want to be notified if someone doesn't wish to plot with my character for any reason.

HI EVERYONE. I suck at anon so I'm not bothering with it anyway because people can always tell when it's me. Just to clear some stuff up because apparently there's some confusion going around.

Openly: I have thought she's godmodded/ooc info-pulled in the past. It was discussed with her. I suspect it's not a problem anymore and honestly I thought this whole stuff was over with but people keep bringing it up. I did kind of suspect that the RPS stuff might have been her just because of the circumstantial evidence, but that's all it is and it's all it'll ever be, so everyone pretty much needs to cool their jets. If it wasn't like 4am I could probably come up with theories as to why it could be like anyone I know.

Yes, I do talk with Greed-mun. If I had Jade's IM I would probably talk to her more too. (Seriously, I'm pretty good about talking to most people who IM me? Not saying it's not my fault for asking for hers, I just assume anyone who wants to talk outside of plurk will. Plurk I try to get around to everyone, but Jade doesn't plurk a ton so I see her plurks a lot less. That's all there is to it.) I talk to lot of people and I've got CR with a ton more.

Uh. Taking questions, since I am apparently the leader of a gang clique now that I've recently (tonight) discovered that I have, despite talking to a whoooole lot of people oocly and icly.

To the person who left the link on my page, sorry this took me so long, I was at work and then it took me a while to read through all the comments.

I’m not really sure why anyone would think I have something against Jade but I could say the same of the other people named. I did defend Greed against the secret and I would do so again. I doubt Jade cares who Greed is shipped with so I’m not sure why defending him means I have something against her.

Secondly, while it’s good to defend your friends, a lot of people are doing it by putting down other people. All the people you named are also nice and talented people. Having crit, which Greed took to DM herself, doesn’t make them bad people. So, I’ll say the same thing here that I said on the secret: you don’t have to knock people down to build people up.

You can skip to this part if you want the simple answer. No, I don’t want her to drop. We all have our differences but I’m sorry if I made anyone think I didn’t want them in the game with me.

Okay...hello, anons. I've read over this about twenty times so that I could understand all this, and I think I've got an good grasp of the concerns of the anons. This is going to be a tl;dr (requiring this to be broken into two comments!), but I'm going to try to cover everything as coherently, straight-to-the-point, and of course not p/a as I can.

After the secret had been released, I was hesitant to rp here and had replied to anons that I considered dropping. That's no lie, and I'm sorry that statement came off as passive aggressive. I only wished for the anons then to know that I was thinking heavily about their concerns and I wasn't ignoring them. Actually- I am still hesitant about how many feel about me playing here. I honestly have little idea who is suspicious, not suspicious, wants me to drop, against me dropping, or simply does not care about all of this besides those that were unnecessarily requested by anons to give statements and did so. That aside, all I do know is that by Greedmun's speculation there is at least five here still upset with me from months ago and even more upset now. How many of these wish for me to drop I would not know. I suppose it would be too much to ask for an anon poll, so on behalf of all anons' rudeness for calling those namedropped here- those for me dropping requesting it be done and those defending me that did- I apologize.

So! Considering the pre-final rush and finals week coming up, it seemed like an opportune moment to take a hiatus then. During this time both Greedmun and I had hoped that it would die down. As it turns out- it didn't. When I found myself with a break and saw that that the situation with anons wasn't any better, I contacted him then. I explained that I wished to opt-out of the Sotoba plot with Ozaki. I attempted to make it clear that it wasn't because of any awkwardness between us or unwillingness to play on my part, but rather because of what anons have said and how they seemed to view me and my attitude towards him. I did not want to make it seem like he owed me anything then- not tags, not a plot, not even an answer or future interaction. I enjoyed the plot and our CR, but I was too shaken by anons and their implications to continue with it. I do not know how Greedmun felt about it while it lasted, and I hope that if he didn't enjoy it he would have stopped it,... but the plot itself is now over with Ozaki's drop. He is not responsible for any of this in any way. I took another hiatus because I saw that people were still upset with me, and I hoped that things would die down. Seeing this thread, I suppose not. So I would like to try my best to address some of the concerns the anons brought up here. If I missed anything, please do not hesitate to reply.

Regarding the first critique thread, I apologize if it seemed as if I did not care. I did care. After the thread was over, I felt very uneasy. At first Greedmun did not say that the power appeared godmoddy- I noticed it was and admitted that without any accusation that it was so in the first place. I admitted that the power was godmoddy in addition to realizing how continuing to use said powers would cause uncertainty among the players and sacrificing of DM's characterization. Realizing this and admitting this made me instantly know the potential problem it could be. After the critique thread was finished, I already knew that something was wrong with DM having that power, although I did not say anything. I decided then that it would not do any good to use that power, and I should have said something to that effect. I'm sorry for that, too, since it caused a lot of uneasiness and frustration. By then Greedmun and others had already gone to the mods to report this, and Greedmun had began venting about this on rpanons. Of course, all of this was eventually settled quietly, and I thought that this was the end of that. I did not ignore the concerns of the anons then, either. I had even warned potential appers to Exitvoid that Amy and I had received some wank regarding our playing. I thought it would be fair to them to know they might be playing with a cast that others do not like and subject them to the same negativity.

No, I have never and would never have had DM use this power without a mun's consent. In both instances in which she used it, permission was given. The two times she has used this power are once with Greedmun and another for the joint plot with Morrigan. Since the plot with Morrigan, I have not have Dead Master use this power for any reason, plot or otherwise, and I have never wanted her to. Actually, one player extended the duration of DM's power on their character for their own plot without contacting me first. Other than that, the aftermath of that plot involved DM talking to some of characters affected by her power- which she then told them she would not use on them again. So in addition to my own unwillingness for her to use this power, there has been an IC reason for her not to use it since mid-February (the Baddler post), either. These reasons coupled with what the mods have discussed with me- I assure everyone that this power should not be a concern to anyone or any character anymore.

I double checked the dates- the apple plot with Kefkamun was thought up and asked about before the first critique thread. The word 'succeed' was never used. The request was to tamper with the virus-like qualities of Eris' apples: "They would like to try to extract/replicate the virus power found within the apples so that they can use it for later." Even though this was with Eris' level of virus and not DDD's level of virus, Kefkamun and I had known of the delicacy of this request, which is why permission was asked at an attempt. Another player at the time saw this request and thought that they were going to succeed, and actually they contacted both Kefkamun and I for another permission in a mini-plot involving another character: that's two other people that believed the muses were going to succeed, even before the plot was approved or put into effect. After the mods inquired for powers, I said that it was not within Dead Master's ability, and after I contacted Kefkamun's answer I simply copy and pasted (with permission) their answer for the mods to decide. Kefkamun noted some canon examples of Kefka manipulating and replicating magic for others, but was still uncertain if those examples qualified- which is why the decision was left to the mods. No, I would not have DM use a power she didn't have on the apples if mod permission was given or not given. The hypothetical power up for the mods to approve or disprove was Kefka's alone. The request to extract or replicate the apples' powers was eventually denied, but they were allowed to experiment on the apples. Even if DM and Kefka eventually failed at what they were ICly attempting to accomplish, DM ICly contacted Kefka for this idea and we went ahead with this experimentation.

In my opinion not blurring IC/OOC lines comes easy. While sometimes feelings are evoked from particularly emotional developments- like threads in the classic Die for Me meme-, often times I remain detached. Other times I am completely opposite from my characters' feelings and sentiments.  A notable example was the long, angst-y thread DM recently had with Shooter- there is still a public Plurk as evidence that both I and BRSmun were poking fun (and as a result could not concentrate on said thread very well) at the melodrama of our characters. Blurring OOC/IC lines here with Greedmun would amount to nothing, not to mention it would be confusing. After all, I have had all types of CR with his muses. It is true that our two of our characters, Greed and DM, have negative CR, and I do not mind it. It is perfectly IC for them not to talk to each other. On the other hand, DM has had positive CR with Ozaki. At the time of the speculation of wank she had both types of CR with Greedmun's characters, so blurring OOC/IC because of CR type would not even be able to happen coherently. No- I have never felt bullied by Greedmun in any way. His responses are composed and considerate and there is nothing for me to take from him as bullying. 

While it is true that I identify with some of my characters' interests, I do not condone, accept, or identify many of their actions or beliefs. I still do enjoy playing them, and I also enjoy the research and thought I decide to put into my characters in my spare time. In Issun's case, I enjoyed looking up and reading vast amounts of classical Asian mythology, then reading about some schools of thought to the origin of this thought in Buddhism, which in turn is traced back to Hinduism, which is traced back to Vedic mythology. In DM's case, I focused mainly on the cycle of life, death, rebirth, the emotional attachments that act as figurative attachments to the material world- such as friendship and jealousy, which give rise to suffering; in the Black Rock Shooter anime, this is noted to be suffering incarnate. For Utsuho I've already covered much in mythology, but in addition I got stuck reading literature about avian behaviors (which side tracked to watching Planet Earth's segment on birds of paradise, as many already know). As you can probably tell, this may be much more thought than is required to understand the canon and characters (and in no way am I an expert on any of these subjects), but this is how I enjoy them more- not how I identify with them. As most of this concern in this thread is about DM, a good example of how I do not identify with her is her black-and-white view and all-or-nothing thinking of the world, her possessiveness, and her vagueness on many subjects. I understand that her words and crypticness often appear "insightful", but many of her actions in-game show that she is much less mature than how she carries herself, which means she rarely follows her own insightful (or attempt at insightful) advice, and I do not believe she is right most of the time regarding this.

As another anon mentioned, all developments in which my characters have gained items or abilities are from in-game interactions. The most recent example is Utsuho: after a conversation with Doc Scratch in which he hinted to her that obtaining a Geiger counter would be worthwhile, she asked those on the community for one. Another character sent one to her. Special snowflaking is specifically an ooc attitude, and all of my developments with my characters are the result of IC interactions- DM receiving her power from Eris included. In that instance, I did ask Erismun if she would like to thread it out after receiving permission from the mods, and she replied to handwave it. There has also been one time before that where Eris had simply given DM a present without DM asking for it. That resulted in DM making a an IC reaction post as well. It was both IC for DM to receive that power and IC for Eris to give it, and the exchange was passed by a mod. My other character, Issun, has received both a work by Newton and magical items. All of these items and and abilities were received from in-game, IC developments with minimal to no plotting involved. It is true that DM tends to be my more active muse- even more so now that I have a castmate. I keep plurks about my characters to a minimum; I have never called the muses I have my 'babies', and I do not think my own characterization is better than anyone else's. Actually- in the case of DM and Utsuho, I have praised two others for their characterization. Special snowflaking is specifically OOC, and while I do like my characters despite their faults and enjoy playing them, there seems to be no evidence of OOC special snowflaking happening besides  anons' speculation. Although, I am open for discussion and would definitely attempt to correct my behavior.

For passive aggressiveness... I try not to be this, either. Passive aggressiveness is a loose term which rpers use on many occasions and apply to many different situations, but I believe the underlying feeling is that there is some subliminal OOC animosity or negativity on the user's part. This makes it hard to identify instances or conversations where I may come off like this. So, I apologize for coming off negatively in any of my OOC conversations. If anyone would like to link me any conversation in which I seemed this way, I would be glad to reassess my statements, explain the possibility of why there shouldn't  be anything negative attached to it, and apologize again for misunderstandings. How I try not to be passive aggressive is to actively come out to people and speak with them directly. I don't plurk often, but I private plurk more than I plurk for everyone, and I apologize if that makes me appear cliquey, standoffish, or beyond reasonable reproach in any way. I find this method to be easier if I have something to say to muns. Again, I also contact muns if I feel I wish for tags or to continue a thread (I've done this with at least four others, plus Greedmun) instead of 'P/A'ly hinting for them... or making secrets. (But in the secret's case there is really nothing I can do at this point to prove my innocence, which I've come to accept.)

I ask anons still uncomfortable with me to take advantage of the Opt-Out post, or to PM me or contact me in any way if you do not wish for tags. This post also functions as a HMD. Anon commenting is on, IP logging is off, and comments are unscreened. Tagging me to not seem obvious that you're avoiding me won't do much good, unfortunately. I am active in my CR, possibly enough to be considered pushy. I like continuing CR, and I have pm'd/pp/contacted in some way or another if I ever wished for tags- none of this anon wishing from tags. I have continuously tagged others even when they do not tag me. I can list two:  from one of the people namedropped I have not received a tag on my own post since early last Fall; from another not namedropped I had never received a tag on my posts until March, and we had begun CR since July. Their lack of activity towards me did not discourage me from continuing our CR in the meantime. If it seemed OOC for their characters to ignore my posts, I would have notified them. I hope through all of this that uncomfortable anons would see it reasonable that if it makes you uneasy to tag me, it would be less of a hassle and make you less uncomfortable if you simply did use the opt-out post. I don't want to put any players in a position where they are continuously uncomfortable with me not knowing.

I've had posts not receive many tags before. That this post received little I would normally assume to be for the reasons other anons had mentioned- and if I wanted to play with one character or mun in particular I would have outright asked them for a tag, as I have done before. I try not to seem vague when in those moments I do ask for tags, and have worried before that I came off as obnoxious. Now I see that there is one additional possible reason as to why the post is neglected. I feel bad for Amy for being ignored at this post because of me, and if anyone would still like to tag that post as of now only for BRS I will not tag them back out of courtesy. Although some anons here have admitted to avoiding me, I ask that you do not throw around examples of avoidance and distribute mistrust among some of my closest CR and friends made through RP. I see that the anon who did give names apologized for it, but I question why some of those names would be relevant at all to me.

Although it was Greedmun's 'side' that called for proof that others did not want to play with me- they do not need to come here and defend themselves, me, or their decisions in suspecting me or not. I have notified each of them apologizing on anon's behalf and told them that they do not need to defend themselves to anons or give any statements. Again- I apologize to them as well, and will understand if they feel any negativity towards me as a result of all of this. I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable and I do completely understand the mistrust and suspicion. So... please, if you don't wish to play with me, just tell me. That goes for future and current CR with any of my characters for whatever OOC or IC reason.
